Hi there!
Welcome to the Wedding Planning site for the Bridal Party. The hope is that you'll find this tool useful, informative, and fun. This will help us to chit chat, share ideas, and provide updates... As you scroll down, you'll see that the Bridesmaid Gown Detail has been added as our first blog entry! Any other commentaries or anything at all you'd like to upload, feel free to jot down your thoughts and post 'em! Would love to read them -- this site could possibly be a very informative reference on this summer's wedding planning palooza (and possibly a funny reference, too -- Cathy, you should share your "Anita met Youkilis!" story...)
All righty -- I'm asking myself right now -- do I have any updates? I'm visiting a florist next week -- I've already told her that I want hydrangeas, which I hear is a very affordable flower. No doubt when she read what flowers I wanted, her dream bubble filled with wads of dough deflated. Too bad!
I'm also working on the Registry and hope to have the Macy's one done by the end of next week. (Then I should pppppprobably run it by Brian before publishing, yes? Probably.
) Due to Madeline's dramatic diaper rash, however, I couldn't really focus on the registry this week, but I am hopeful I can be back in focus on it next week!
That may be it for now... Oh, stay tuned for when the Bridal Boot Camp re-enters our focus! Maybe Jodi can upload the info she found on it when she gets back from her trip to NYC this weekend...
Cheers,
M

Hey there!
Dress #741 by Watters & Watters is the official bridesmaid dress. Everyone needs to visit the weird lady in the weird house with the deathtrap brick steps to get measured and to place the order. There is a steamstress there who will measure you and perform the alterations. Fyi, the lady (her name is Anita) warned that Watters & Watters dress sizes run small, so don't be alarmed if you hear a size number that is bigger than you're used to!
Here's the scoop:
Maker: WTOO (Watters & Watters )
Style #: 741
Material:
Chiffon - Midnight Blue
Satin Band - Sky Blue
Shrug - Midnight Blue (shrug optional)

Vendor info:

She said to email or call her to set up an appointment - she's has flexible hours 7 days a week. If you should be able to coordinate everyone to go together, Anita said she is happy to take everyone in one big appointment. The measuring takes about 5 minutes (allow an extra 5 for the shrug measuring), and then just a few more minutes to order. A deposit will be required. And don't forget to order "extra length" if you think you'll need it.
And as warned last week, the orders need to be placed right away! Anita strongly suggests that all dresses be ordered by next Monday or Tuesday (that gets the dresses in about mid July -- very close!) Let me know if you have questions. Or call her directly.
I got swatches, by the way, and the colors are more lovely together than we suspected!
Thanks for everything -- I hope this isn't too much of a hideous chore.
Muchos grassyass,
